– Jesus: “My Beloved, continue to accept everything out of love in order to be My witness of silence. Think of Me! Didn’t I remain silent in the presence of Pilate, and of your sins? To be a witness of silence does not mean one must remain silent, say nothing, let things be! No! When it means defending oneself, protecting Our love, one must speak. It is a duty of charity toward Us and of justice toward souls. One must always ask for the light of the Holy Spirit and all His gifts in order to speak according to the spirit of God. Even among My consecrated souls, many speak. They always have the spirit of God in them. How many let the Holy Spirit speak in them? It takes a lot of humility to admit that they are only Our instruments in word and action. How many put a serious obstacle in the way of grace and inspirations of the Holy Spirit by exposing their ideas in words and phrases. Sometimes it is involontary blindness, but there is also spiritual vanity through words. There are some who hold onto their ideas believing that it is Our idea. You know, the road of silence is so narrow, but the road of love is larger and longer. To reach it, on needs a lot of pure love and not self love. To become attached to Us, one must be detached from eveything, from oneself. To serve Us, one must work for souls. To think about Us, one must forget oneself for others. After having studied each point, you will notice that Our love is always there and that Our mercy is infinite. To feel this way is very human, but I am judging you today on your attitude towards Our judgment. Your poor human nature is always there. One must always pray, struggle, ask the Holy Spirit to be enlightened, follow His inspirations and obey without trying to understand, to trust in Us. You know, even in spiritual life, one must be detached from everything, never complacent, but seek Us with Our love and Our will. Even among My consecrated souls, many are complacent in their words, thoughts, desires and actions. Yet, spiritual life is so simple in living with Us, understanding Us, loving Us the way We are. Once a soul tries on its own to understand spiritual life and practice it according to its own principles, then, the Holy Spirit is no longer at home and that spiritual life loses its value. And even after having tried very hard, this soul recognizes its error. It feels empty within. A spiritual life is fruitful and flourishing only when it is founded on love, humility, charity, intimacy and confidence in Us. Spiritual life is not something general. It is personal. Even in spiritual life, We respect the freedom of souls. We allow the soul freedom to choose it or reject it. The soul who really wants to walk with us on this road may, if it is helpful, look up treatises on spiritual life, but the best author is the Holy Spirit who is working with love in a soul that is humble and submissive. Through intimacy, We speak freely to souls. Each one in particular can say: “God is speaking to me, is listening to me, is giving me advice, is directing me. He hears me. I am no longer alone to suffer and struggle. Yes, I believe that He is truly here, living in me. In spite of my unworthiness, He has lowered Himself and has come to live in my soul forever if in all humility I recognize my nothingness and open wide the door of my soul so that He may enter with the Blessed Trinity and His love.” With this, a soul is able to come to Us with pure love and have a spiritual life enriched according to Our Holy Will.”
