– Mimi: “I was so happy to begin this year with you my God, my Beloved Father. I need you so badly. I am poor more and more, in spite of all that you are giving me.
I feel that my heart is so cold, my little soul is weak, I am so absent minded. My illness is getting worse, and my strength diminishes day by day. Humanly speaking I am a wreck.
However I have no right to think this way. I am first of all a child of God, I am the poor little servant in the service of God and neighbor. I am presently suffering from the state of soul I am in. I miss you my Beloved, in the solitude of my room I should rather call my cell.
In this great silence, I often pray to Mary to live this silence with her. Yes, Mary was silent throughout her whole life. At Christmas, silence and adoration before Jesus. When saint Joseph died, silence in this hardship. During the public life of Jesus, a silence of detachment. During the way of the cross, she lived with Jesus this long silence of suffering during his agony and death.
The Virgin Mary is an example for me.
After having meditated at length on the silence of Mary, I now love silence in the solitude of my room, I should rather say in my little sanctuary of the Eternal Father.
With a detachment from everything, even from the members of my family, my friends, God is leading me more rapidly towards the cross. Sometimes my steps are short and I follow him at a distance. However, in the depths of my soul, I feel the need to be always near him, this God of love.
Yes, my Beloved, please give me the strength and courage to do the Holy Will of God at all times.”

– Mimi: I am finally alone with my Beloved, I am so happy!
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the chapel. With the television in my room, I am able to see and follow the ceremonies in the chapel. This allows me to pray, to do adoration before Jesus in the Host.
This is why I ask my gentle heavenly Mother to lend me her heart so pure to adore, receive and keep Jesus in me continually until the day when he will come and pluck me as the smallest little flower of his garden.
I know that a flower of 83 is sometimes withered! But it is still on earth, with its memories, thoughts, nothing more for I have given everything to my Beloved. I must be more detached from things of the earth, of the world and of myself, in order to give God all the room.

– Mimi: My mind must be free to adore my God, present in my little soul that has become the temple of God. May my heart be filled with pure love, gratitude for all he is doing in me, out of pure charity, love and mercy. May my body remain on the cross where Jesus immolates himself day and night for the salvation of the world.
Yes, may love in suffering through a greater intimacy be my only reason to live in order to attain my ideal.
My greatest wish is to live and die of love. Detachment each day prepares me, but detachment from my will isn’t always easy. One needs a lot of discernment, is it really God who wants this, or is it the evil one disguised as the angel of light in order to deceive me?

Ash Wednesday
First day of Lent.
– Mimi: During the first hours of the night, I begin to suffer, and my Beloved asks me to follow him during Lent. He is so close to me! How can we refuse him anything! He who gives himself endlessly in his merciful love.
He gives me a sign after communion. This love wound was so intense that I could hardly breathe. During this period, I experience great joy. Only the love of my Beloved can produce this effect in my soul. It is really peaceful and calm : how I would love to die in this state because the love of my Beloved is an indescribable presence. However, I must continue to live in order to accomplish the Holy Will of God and save many souls with my Beloved. In the solitude of my room and in profound silence, I am free to speak to him about our love and projects. Sometimes I am sad for I speak and he does not answer.

– Jesus: “My Beloved, you know that I love you more when I’m silent because you seek me more. This consoles me from the indifference of souls.”

– Mimi: How thankful I must be to the Eternal Father for so much love! 1) for his merciful Love. 2) for the love of Jesus for saving me. 3) for the Love of the Holy Spirit who dwells in my soul as a little permanent dwelling where we are all together in Eternal Love.
There are moments when I ask myself whether I am still on earth! It doesn’t last long for I quickly realize with physical pain that I am not dead yet.
Strangely enough, moral suffering is almost no longer a suffering, for, I feel it deeply inside of me as a tremendous grace of purification. It is a gift that I await each day to help me grow in my faith, through trials, to better accept the Holy Will of the Eternal Father.
Gratitude is continually present in my little soul, in my spirit, in my heart, and from my lips there goes forth words of thanksgiving, prayers, praise, acts of contrition, adoration, for so much love and mercy. In the silence of my heart, I respect the silence of God, for I feel that he is resting with Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, the Angels. I contemplate him with love and gratitude for his great love. In spite of our weaknesses, our faults, he is always present to forgive us and take us in his arms full of love. And when I weep for joy, he weeps with me, for his love is greater than mine. I know that he also loves my poor little heart.

– Mimi: “I have finally found you, my Beloved. Since this morning, I had the desire to live with you this moment of intimacy where my little soul can rest a while and redo my strength in order to continue to carry my cross with you.
I need a special grace to hide my sufferings. Without you, I am nothing. To smile at my neighbor when it would be so easy to wince from the pain. This strength, this courage, my Beloved, comes from you, from your goodness. For, you close your eyes on my weakness to open them to your great mercy, your infinite love for your poor little servant. The presence of the Holy Spirit in my soul and spirit is one. I am discovering more and more this divine presence in my poor little soul that needs so much help, light, love, strength, perseverance to continue accepting his Holy Will. It isn’t always easy to discover it! At times, your Will is in front of me, but I don’t always see it. When this happens, I ask my Beloved to help me accept your Holy Will, without understanding it, relying on you and your grace to do it. I am so weak, so frail, that I place myself continually in the arms of Mother Mary. She alone can help me and guide me to where God awaits me.”
There are times when I dream, when I think about eternal happiness. How infinitely good is God to allow me to think, to desire being with him forever. For now, it is the possession of God in my soul through communion, and in heaven, it is perfect union of the soul with God for all eternity. I ask my Beloved to always be with me. Without him, I can do nothing. I ask my guardian angel to watch over me. I need so much help and protection for at times, the evil one lies in wait to destroy me.

He is present with all his love, his mercy. He is always present especially when I am suffering, to help me, to sustain me. In somber moments, I feel his presence.”

I was meditating on your Precious Blood that you shed each day on the altar, especially for us, in order to purify us and all this is done out of love. It is because of your Body and your Precious Blood that you live in my little soul in order to purify it, nourish it, render it docile to grace to better serve and love you. What is wonderful when I receive you is that I feel that my little soul is going to take off towards you and that my little heart is going to burst from so much love. And this love is you, my Beloved, who give it to me out of pure goodness.”

– Mimi: On this first Friday of the month of March, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed all day in the chapel. Since I am unable to leave my room (because of illness), my room has become a sanctuary and my body, the altar where I offer myself continually with my Beloved. My little soul is the living tabernacle where Jesus is present. This is why my spirit of adoration is always present leaving room for prayer.
Yes, the prayer of the heart. I should rather say the prayer of love, the essential part of my life. My one-on-ones with my Beloved are increasing more and more. I always need his presence, to speak to him, especially to adore him as my God of love who loves me just as I am with my poverty, like a child who has nothing, but with nothing it has everything.
– Jesus: “My Beloved, indeed, the child seems to have nothing, however, it has everything because of its purity, its beauty, its smile, its love. The child likes to share. The child does not carry a grudge. It forgives and forgets. Sometimes, a child does not agree with a friend. A serious disagreement. Then, a short time later, they are together sharing the same game. Heavenly Father, would you please bless them and rest your hand on each one of them. Fill their hearts with your love by granting them all that they need to accomplish their tasks. Like Mary, may they be love, educators, consolers, patient, charitable and confident for a child greatly needs someone who loves him and listens to him. If the door of his mother’s heart is closed, how do you want the child to open his little heart that needs so much love? A child is so frail, so sensitive! By coming into the world, he asks nothing and yet needs everything, especially love to open up, live and grow.
