– Mimi: I would have liked to attend holy Mass in the chapel. I still don’t have permission to leave my room. I have been living in solitude for the last two months. To encourage myself, I think of you, my Beloved, who are often alone in the tabernacle.
This morning, I was watching mass on television. I suffered greatly while looking at these images. At the Sanctus, they were singing “Holy, holy is the Lord” on a popular tune.
Pure love is not divided up but given entirely to God alone. He must come first. A spiritual bond that unites two souls is not based on human love.
